First I checked on this weeks Color Challenge. I have everything in stock, so next I moved to a layout. I made a card the other day for a Sketch challenge and really liked it. I have colors and a layout, time to craft.
Am I the only one who keeps Pinterest up when I am using Copic Markers? I was looking at a B&W PI and wondering where to start. First I checked on some coral colors. I decided to color the phone coral, because it reminded me of something you would see at a grandparents house. Green for the shirt and blue for the pants. Finished with skin and hair (which is normally my first step).
Make it pop with a raised sentiment!

This is really an adorable card and I love your take on that sketch! Unfortunately, it doesn't qualify as an entry for our challenge at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies. While we are an "Anything Goes" challenge (anything, not just cards or paper crafts), we do have the one requirement that each project entered MUST feature a 'critter' of some kind. There's still plenty of time to enter our month-long challenge so I hope we'll see you playing along later this month with a project that features a creature. :-D
